AdvancTEK provides kitting services, sequencing, and secondary assembly as part of our broader value-added and supply chain management capabilities. Rather than shipping bulk molded components, AdvancTEK organizes, joins, and prepares parts exactly as the next stage of production or distribution requires. Pairing kitting and sequencing with in-house molding lets customers consolidate suppliers and advance a program past the molded part stage into a production-ready assembly under one roof.
Secondary assembly brings individually molded components together into finished or semi-finished goods, delivered ready to install rather than assembled from multiple suppliers on the customer’s floor.
AdvancTEK supports this with specialized bonding and joining processes, including sonic welding and heat staking, so assembled parts meet strength and fit requirements without additional fasteners or adhesives. Beyond those two core processes, the secondary assembly menu extends into fastening, structural joining, full subassembly builds, and component installation.
Secondary assembly operations include:
Because assembly is completed and inspected in a controlled quality environment, customers receive a certified, fully assembled unit, reducing vendor count and keeping quality control within a single operation.

Kitting services group related components into a single, ready-to-use set built to the customer’s bill of materials. AdvancTEK organizes molded parts, hardware, and subassemblies into kits arranged for the exact point of use, which shortens assembly time and reduces line-side errors.
Kitting is not limited to the parts AdvancTEK molds. As a contract kitting company and assembly provider, AdvancTEK brings in components sourced elsewhere and consolidates them, along with purchased items, into a single kit. Kitting also extends past commercial vehicle programs to other industries and component types, so a kit does not need to be limited to plastic parts produced by AdvancTEK.
Line sequencing delivers parts in the precise order a customer’s assembly line installs them. Commercial vehicle manufacturers build to a VIN number or chassis number, and AdvancTEK sequences each shipment to that identifier and the options ordered for that specific vehicle, such as sleeper type, color, and configuration. Parts are built to the vehicle’s requirements, staged in rack packaging, and delivered so the customer moves a single container straight to the line for a specific VIN.
Because sequencing follows customer demand, AdvancTEK supports lines running one platform continuously as well as lines running different platforms – such as a daycab and a sleeper cab– down the line at the same time. Sequenced, or production sequencing, delivery supports just-in-time manufacturing and removes sorting and staging work from the customer’s floor.
Every kit and sequenced shipment is verified before it ships. AdvancTEK scans each component against the kit’s bill of materials, and the system releases a master label only once all parts are accounted for. Those scans validate directly to AdvancTEK’s ERP system, confirming each kit is complete and correct against the customer’s order.
Kitting, sequencing, and assembly are central to AdvancTEK’s position as a one-stop shop. Sourcing molding, assembly, kitting, and sequencing through a single supplier reduces the purchase orders a customer releases and the SKUs they maintain, consolidating a complex supply chain into one managed relationship.
AdvancTEK delivers finished products in the order and configuration each program requires, at the time the line needs them. Geographic coverage reinforces the model: manufacturing in Mexico, the southeast, and across the United States keeps production close to the customer’s point of use and improves landed cost.
Consolidating design and development, molding, assembly, kitting, sequencing, and logistics with one partner lowers cost, removes the expense of a separate third-party logistics provider, and keeps the customer’s assembly line running smoothly.
Kitting groups related parts into a single set, while sequencing delivers parts in the exact order a production line uses them. AdvancTEK provides both as part of our value-added services.
Yes. Secondary assembly, including sonic welding and heat staking, is a standard part of AdvancTEK’s capabilities, allowing customers to receive finished or semi-finished goods rather than loose components.
Yes. As a contract kitting provider, AdvancTEK can organize and sequence components sourced from multiple suppliers – including purchased items and competitors’ parts – into a single kit built to the customer’s specifications.
Yes. AdvancTEK sequences each shipment to the vehicle’s VIN number or chassis number and the options ordered for that build, staging parts in the order the assembly line installs them.
Each component is scanned against the kit’s bill of materials and validated to AdvancTEK’s ERP system, which releases a master label only when every part is accounted for.
