Thermoforming

Thermoforming

Thermoforming plastic is what we do. Whether it is vacuum-formed, pressure-formed, or twin-sheet-formed, AdvancTEK has a solution for you. Do you have a compressed project timeline? Do you have tooling budget constraints? Do you require a rapid prototype? Thermoforming is your solution.

Do you have a big part? We can handle that too. AdvnacTEK offers a wide range of processes and can mold sheets up to 6′ x 8′.

Let AdvancTEK’s design team aid you in developing a thermoforming solution to your production challenge.

What is Thermoforming?

What is Thermoforming?

Thermoforming is a great option for molding lower-volume or large plastic parts when a reduced tooling investment is required. An extruded plastic sheet is loaded into a clamp frame, heated, and then drawn over a mold where vacuum is applied to pull the heated plastic into its final form. Secondary trimming processes are utilized to create the final shape and incorporate installation and design features into the molded part.

AdvancTEK delivers expertise in three thermoforming processes: Vacuum Forming, Pressure Forming, and Twin-Sheet Forming.
