Thermoforming plastic is what we do. Whether it is vacuum formed, pressure formed, or twin-sheet formed, AdvancTEK has a solution for you. Do you have a compressed project time line? Do you have tooling budget constraints? Do you require a rapid prototype? Thermoforming is your solution.
Do you have a big part? We can handle it. We offer a wide range of processes, and can mold sheets up to 6' x 8'.
Let AdvancTEK's design team help you develop a thermoforming solution to your production challenge.
What is thermoforming?
Thermoforming is a great option for molding lower volume or large plastic parts when lower tooling investment is required. An extruded plastic sheet is loaded into a clamp frame, heated, and then drawn over a mold where vacuum is applied to pull the heated plastic into its final form. Secondary trimming processes are utilized to create the final shape and incorporate installation and design features into the molded part.
AdvancTEK offers three thermoforming processes: Vacuum Forming, Pressure Forming, and Twin-Sheet Forming.
